I was so lucky to be able to photograph this beautiful couple just days before the birth of their new little baby. Out of respect and privacy I won’t be previewing any where you can see them, but let me tell you, she was one of the most gorgeous and glowing pregnant women I have seen at 38 weeks pregnant! While many moms out there know that it can feel like forever when you are pregnant, especially near the end, it really is only 9 months. Won’t it be great to remember this special time in your life with photographs to remember it? Your new son or daughter will love to see the photos in the years to come too. I’ve been pregnant three times now and have foolishly not had maternity portraits taken for any pregnancy. I always felt just too tired and not beautiful enough to take pictures. Looking back, I wish I would have thought a little more about this because besides a few poor cell phone shots, all I have left is the memories of what I looked like 9 months pregnant. It would have been nice to look back now that I am thin again(well…somewhat:)). The best time to have maternity photos taken is after 30 weeks.
