Last month if you happened to be at local Ahwatukee Foothills YMCA you may have noticed some familiar photos hanging up on the their featured artist wall. I was honored to be selected as their photographer of the month and displayed many of my photos on the “artists among us” wall. I did try to display many of my local family and child clients, as well as some of my personal photos of my own children.
This photograph below graced the wall in a large canvas, and while it was taken several years ago, it still is one of my favorite shots and receives many compliments. It was originally taken as part of a national competition with the theme wind, where it received a 5th place award. This photo was also an honorable mention for the cover of the Lemonade and Lenses magazine child issue.
Thanks again to the Foothills YMCA for allowing my work to hang on your walls this month and thank you to everyone who stopped to take a peek at it while you were there!
