Family and Maternity Photography in the Phoenix Mountians

It is always enjoyable for me to meet clients that are not from Phoenix.  I think I might take for granted the beautiful mountains we have here and the gorgeous desert landscape.  It’s probably because I see it daily and one of the Phoenix mountain ranges is literally steps from my backyard.  I like hearing these out of town families talk about their experience here in Arizona, but I especially love seeing Phoenix through the eyes of the young children who visit here.  Watching these kids take in the beauty of the desert reminds me how lucky I am to live here.

This little boy was no exception.  He was excited and curious to hike up these red rock hills through the desert.   You can just see his excitement about this new place in his huge smiles and sparkly eyes.  Mom impressed me too being several months pregnant and ready to take the hike up of one of the most beautiful places in the area.  I think I got some gorgeous maternity shots of her and her son.  I especially love the silhouette photo of the two of them holding hands.

I also loved their choice of clothing.  This family was right on with complementing there wardrobe choice to the background landscape.  The purples and blues in their outfits popped against the reddish orange rock.  And how cute is that little golfers cap! The accessory choice on this little guy was just the cutest!This is one of the more popular locations for people coming in from out of town to have family photos taken.  Obviously it is a strikingly beautiful area, but there is a uniqueness to this place that you don’t see in other parts of the country.  There are hidden nooks and crannies all over this park with neat places to photograph.  If you are coming to the Phoenix area soon and are thinking about scheduling a unique to Arizona session email me for open dates.  Emily@cozyclicks.com
