Fun Activities For Kids: Car Wash!
Fun Projects to Do with your Kids Documented through Photographs
If you have just stumbled onto my website you might be wondering what this post has to do with photography. I am primarily a Family and Child photographer in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. I am also however, a mother of four, former elementary teacher and part time child development professor. In this section of my photography blog I combine my love for taking pictures with my love for working with young kids. Here, you will find inspiration for cool activities to do with your little ones along with some pretty fun photos to illustrate! We’ve made dinosaur eggs, exploded soda, made play doh that smelled like a bakery and more! In this post we are turning the backyard into a car wash! In Phoenix, the weather is still sweltering hot! It’s tough to do activities outside with your kids in the summer unless it involves lots of water. This simple outdoor activity to do with your kids is perfect for the summer time. Just grab some buckets and water and create your own backyard car wash! It’s fun, cheap and you probably already have the supplies you need at home.I didn’t give these kids much instruction other than we were going to set up a car wash. I allowed them to create, explore and use their imagination. And did they ever! They even become part of the car wash and sprayed themselves. This activity is little to no money to do and provides entertainment that can last hours!
I’d love to hear some fun activities you do with your kids! Comment below or send me an email and maybe I just might try (and photograph it!) for the blog:)

And because Rock the Shot‘s photo challenge for the month is water, I thought many of these were appropriate entries. Head on over to their blog to see which one I entered:)
