For this high school senior session, we headed off the Downtown. Downtown Phoenix is a perfect spot for senior photos because of it’s versatility and variety in shots. It allows the senior to show off there personality with a fun backdrop! As the murals and past change often in the downtown area, it’s always fun to see what new backgrounds are there. Wardrobe
For senior sessions, its fun to change outfits to fit your personality and to document what style you were into during your high school years! I generally recommends between 1-3 outfit changes to make sure you get the maximum amount of shooting time in. Bringing props that symbolize your high school years ( like this golf/baseball session or this 1950’s inspired high school theme) are great alternatives that changing clothes!
Time of Day for Senior Portraits
While many photo sessions will typically occur an hour before sunset to ensure that it is not too bright outside, Downtown Phoenix allows for a lot more flexibility in the time of day we schedule your session.
