The Session

This totally gorgeous, styled maternity session was so beautiful.  The mom to be was so stunning and so perfectly styled, it kind of makes me want to be pregnant again just so I can get my maternity pictures done like this (oh, and that would be my 5th pregnancy then- just for all of you who are counting!)  Maternity sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite types to shoot.  If you are pregnant, maternity photos are typically best taken between 28-34 weeks.  This will allow you to show off plenty of that baby pump, but still allow you the ease of walking around and posing without getting too tired out.  maternity sessions can be done solo or with your partner or the entire family.  Check out my basic packages for maternity sessions here.

The Location

Tucked secretly in to Central Phoenix is a gorgeous spot perfect for maternity, family or child portraits.  While this area doesn’t showcase much of the natural desert of Arizona, it does have plenty of trees and bushes and if you are feeling adventurous- is right near the river.  I’d love to shoot here again!
