Family and Child Photography in the Phoenix Area

Location

The hole in the rock at Papago Park is a favorite photo session location and for good reason! This spot boasts the beautiful rock rock mountains, but also had that classic desert feel.  Walk a bit farther and you’ll find a large lake and palm trees too!.  This location does require a minimum amount of walking.  This is a beautiful central Phoenix spot! Session Type

This session was a family and one year old child combination photo sessions.  With baby just turning one it was important to capture her portraits! But with all of my portrait sessions, the parents are more than welcome to jump in a few too!  So this lucky little girl got her pictures taken with dad and mom.  What fun!  Too see more one year old portrait sessions check out these examples here and here!

Tips

To make your family session with a one year old as fun and easy as possible follow these few tips.  First, make sure that newly one year old is well rested and fed.  When they are comfortable an din a good mood everyone is! You know what your child can tolerate best, so when thinking about changing outfits know your child’s disposition.  If they are uncomfortable changing clothes, only bring one outfit, or accessories  that can easily go over the current outfit.  If they can tolerate a bit more, bring one more change of clothes.  Typically in a one hour session, one year olds can not tolerate more than two outfit changes.
