Phoenix Family Photography- “The North Side of South Mountain” {Photographer in Scottsdale, Ahwatukee and Surrounding Areas}

South Mountain is a central point right in the middle of Phoenix. It’s beautiful mountain ranges and gorgeous desert scenery surrounding the park make it a fantastic spot for family photos. It’s also a very popular spot for Phoenix photographers! I tend to shoot at South Mountain a lot, but usually on the Ahwatukee side of the mountain, so it was a lot of fun to take this easy going family of three (plus their dog) to the North side of the mountain. I recommend to stay away from this awesome photo location during the weekends as it tends to get very busy at some of the more popular areas, but lucky for us, we were three mid week and had almost the whole bottom of the mountain to ourselves- and it was even during the photography busy season! It was a pleasure being able to work with this family in one of my favorite areas. I’m hoping to get back to South Mountainagain in the spring for another family or child photo session when the pretty yellow desert flowers are in bloom. It really is a gorgeous spot!

If you are planning a trip to Phoenix, South Mountain is a great spot for family portraits! (It’s even fun to see if you’re not into photography.) Email me for open time slots to schedule your custom photography session. Emily@cozyclicks.com
