Phoenix Maternity Photography
Session Type
For this maternity photo session we combined both the breathtaking beauty of this mom to be PLUS added in dad to be in many of the photos. The two of them couldn’t have been more glowing and exciting for the birth of their son. They were so cute and candid with each other, laughing and having a great time. I couldn’t get her to take a serious shot, and I think the pure joy shines through!!
Weather
These two flew all the way from the East coast to escape the cold and have their maternity photos taken in the the warm Phoenix sunshine. Well, that plan fell through slightly when our beautiful Phoenix weather decided to rain. No worries though! A little bit of sprinkles is OK, and actually a lot of clouds is even better! Overcast days create a beautiful natural light that is super flattering for portraits. Location
This maternity session was taken right near Downtown Phoenix (doesn’t really look like it, right?) This beautiful preserve, just slightly south of the city makes for a beautiful backdrop from maternity or family photos!
