Location: Salt River
This beautiful location is Coon Bluff Campground at Salt River and it may be just the spot you are looking for for you maternity photos. Not only does this location has the Salt River, it also hosts beautiful tress and red rock mountains. A really gorgeous photo location for maternity photos or for family photo too! This spot can get busy on weekend days and does require a parking permit to enter.
Maternity Photo Tips
Schedule your maternity photos when you are between 28-33 weeks. This will showcase that beautiful baby bump but will make sure you get your photos in if baby decides to come early! You want to choose a wardrobe that you feel comfortable in and that also show to beautiful of your pregnancy. If your not sure if your clothes will photograph well, we can chat about it prior to your session!
Getting in the Water
When you shoot your maternity photos at Salt River, the water is not always the most comfortable. It can be a bit cold at times and the terrain is rocky. If you are feeling adventurous to take your photos in the water, it can be fun- but plan to bring an extra set of clothes or a towel!
