The Dress
You have to start wondering big time when a client tells you this at the beginning of the session….?
“I have the UGLIEST dress ever that I bought online, but I want to give it a try because I think you might be able to make it work…”??
This gorgeous momma to be pulled out a scrunched up sheer garment (not even sure if I could call it a dress) from her bag to show me. It felt hard and looked away uncomfortable, had a lot of extra random material and what I can only describe as “wings” on the back.?
She took a chance buying online because it was cheap (hey, I’m ALL about being thrifty too! ) and the picture of it looked beautiful. But when she got it in the mail, um, not so much….?
I think she totally rocked the “ugly” dress though, don’t you? ??

The Location
Manistee Ranch is a fun and popular spot for photos. Just outside of Phoenix in the city of Glendale, Manistee Ranch Park offers something a little different than the typical desert setting you often see here in Arizona. This spot offers a lot of green backgrounds with a cute little orange orchard. There are also neat historical buildings and lots of out of work farm vehicles that are pretty cool in the background of photos.
