Hi Emily , I recently purchased one of the lens you recommended and i love it…canon ef 50mm f/1.8 . I bought it to do portraits of preschoolers in a small church school. I also bought a plain scenic backdrop to use. I was really happy with how they turned out. I also used some of your advice which was also a big help. I thoroughly enjoy your blogs and weekly posts to my email. I don’t do instagram but can email some pics once in awhile. Thank you for all your help, Terry
