My first family photo session was a tough one, I felt like the parents were trying to be very serious and keep the kids from running around… I’m excited to give your pointers a try, encourage the kids to run around and let the parents know they are free to be silly as well!
My spouse engages the family front on and I work my way around capturing shots of them from different angles. I take pictures of the children watching/playing with her and of the parents watching the children.
