Have you ever found yourself shooting photos the same way, in the same direction, in the same place over and over again? It’s easy to become comfortable shooting the same way, but the result will get pretty boring after awhile. You need to change your perspective! You can still shoot at that same location that you love, but just alter the way you think about things. Keep reading and I’ll show you 3 quick ways to change your perspective to get three different looks in the same wall location.
While shooting at this location with a cool textured wall in the back, you could change your perspective many ways to get different results. Here are three ways to do it!
Straight On
This perspective is pretty classic. You take your subject and shoot them straight on. It’s probably something you have done before too. It’s easy and doesn’t require a whole lot of thought. The shots will turn out cute, but most likely not too interesting. This is when you have the start thinking a little different and changing your perspective.

90 Degrees
See how the composition looks when you position yourself 90 degrees from where you first were standing. You’ll notice that the perspective has changed a bit and will give you a different look even though your subject hasn’t changed position and your location hasn’t changed.

45 Degrees
You can now easily alter your perspective one more time to get yet another look for your photo! Now, keep your subject in the same location, but move at a 45 degree angle to them. How will that change the look of the photo?

When you switch around your perspective, you can get more interesting, creative and different shots, even though you are using the same location! And these aren’t the only ways! You could get down low and shoot up or stand higher on something and shoot down. How else could you change your perspective to get a new look in your photos? Let us know what you do in a comment below! I’d love to here!
