Ahwatukee Concerts in the Park April 2015

It’s enjoyable for me to take a little break from family and child portrait photography and photograph an event as fun as the Ahwatukee Concert in the Park series! The concerts in the park are hosted by Randy Fitch and the Fitch Group and are located at the Desert Foothills Park.  The remaining concerts are Sunday, April 12th and 19th.  They begin at 5:00p.m.  It’s always a lot of fun with families covering the grass with blankets and chairs and breaking open the picnic baskets.

Last weekend was no exception.  Dr. Ron and the Painkillers, an incredibly talented and energetic band,  played for a packed park.  Kids were lined up in front of the stage dancing and playing and just having a great time.  Families were relaxing, grilling and enjoying the music.  To top it off, you can’t ask for better weather here in Phoenix! The temperature was perfect for a night of music and fun!Musicians playing the guitar at sunsetGuitarists playing at the music in the park series in AhwatukeeConcerts in the Park Ahwatukee Photography (11)Large crowd at the concerts in the park in Ahwatukee Spring 2015Family grilling at the Ahwatukee concertsTeo children having fun at the Desert Foothills ParkFood trucks are now at the concerts! This looks like a fun concert! You do such amazing children’s portraits, but it is nice to see you step into a completely different genre for a change. It is fun to do something new and stretch and grow a bit!ReplyCancel
