The Hole in the Rock: What to Know Beforehand
This location which is centrally located in Phoenix will make your photos look unique and fun! It’s important to note that the Hole in the Rock does require a mild amount of hiking to achieve many of the spots. It’s moderate enough that it can be done with toddlers…but is not recommended if anyone has difficulties with mobility. You also may want to bring an extra set of shoes along if you’ll be wearing heels in the pictures!
Where is it Located?
Right in the middle of Phoenix, this spot is right next to the Phoenix Zoo! To get there you will have to enter Papago Park like you are headed to the zoo. Veer to your left though before hitting the zoo parking lot. Once inside Papago park you’ll find many small parking lots. The lot to the Hole in the Rock is small and usually full. It it recommended to park at the lot right before or after.
