Phoenix, Arizona Family Photographer- “Happy 4th Birthday!” {Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Scottsdale Photography}

Have you ever looked at your child and wondered “where has the time gone?” or “how are they that old already?”  If you are like most parents, I am sure you have thoughts like that quite often.  I know with four kids of my own I have thoughts like that almost daily with one of them.  This little girl of mine  just turned four and I am amazed that she has gotten so big this fast.  She is already planning on what she wants to be when she grows up- and can you guess what that is?  A princess.  I wonder if they have a course on that at ASU:)

Being a photographer I am lucky that I can quickly grab my camera to catch all the little moments with my children and keep the way they looked at every age through pictures.  Though they do not always love having their picture taken,  they do always let me take their picture on their birthday.  That way a least I know I will have one picture for each year:)  Birthdays are a great time to schedule a photo session for your child too.  Photo shoots also make great birthday gifts! When you feel like your child doesn’t need another toy that will just get pushed aside in a week or two and Grandma and Grandpa call up asking what to buy them, suggest a photo session.  You’ll be glad you have the pictures as time goes by so fast.

    What a sweetheart!
    You’re absolutely right too! Having photographs of your child is sooo important! Also, what a great idea in having a photo session purchased instead of another toy!ReplyCancel

    I just had one of those moments yesterday… Children grow up so fast and it is so important to document those moments before they are gone. Beautiful images is one of the perks of being a family and children photographer! I didn’t realize that you are the one who took the blow dryer photo… I pinned that on Pinterest forever ago and I simply LOVE it!!!ReplyCancel

    What a beautiful little girl! Love her little pigtails. My littlest one loves her pigtails. Children do grow up too fast. You captured her wonderfully. Great job from a great Phoenix Arizona Family PhotographerReplyCancel

    It is so awesome that you take the time to photograph your own children too. So many photographers let that slip as they are busy documenting other people’s lives. Your daughter will always remember this birthday photo session. And the photos are beautiful too! Phoenix is lucky to have your talent!ReplyCancel

    I can totally relate to that sentiment of “where has the time gone” My baby turns 21 in two weeks. How can she be 21 when I’m still 29! LOL

    Happy 4th Birthday to your little girl Emily!ReplyCancel

    You are so right about being able to quickly capture the things your children are doing on a day to day basis, but it’s also important to make them the star for at least one day…or maybe even a princess! You did a great job capturing your new 4 year old. What a great way to celebrate a birthday – with photos that are all about your child!ReplyCancel

    My oldest is now 12 and I’m also amazed at how fast the time goes. You are so right, as a children’s photographer you get to document those moments as they go by and that is such a special thing. You’ll get to look back on all the moments and so will she. Isn’t that what photography is all about? I adore that bottom photo, there’s so much personality showing through! She looks like quite the little ham!ReplyCancel
