Phoenix, Arizona Family Photographer

This fun family photography session was set at one of my favorite and most requested locations in the Phoenix area.  I love the red rock and the beautiful desert sunsets that served as the backdrop for this fun loving family of 5.  This spot does require a moderate amount of hiking, but we all made it to the top of the mountain and were able to capture traditional family portraits as well as getting a few candid moments in.  The hike isn’t too bad and can even be a little deceiving at first glance of this mountain.  Even the littlest one here was able to climb some of the way.
Just as the sun was setting we made it back to the bottom of the mountain and were able to utilize the desert and the glowing light for some happy, fun, non traditional shots.  This session was a little more nerve racking for me than most, as mom is a photographer too!  I always know I have my work cut out for me when a fellow photog is on the other side of my lens:)  One of the things I really like about these photos is the versatility of the location.  One family session (which you can see here)  was shot not using the red rock or desert, but more of the green and lush areas that surround the mountain.If you are interested in scheduling your family photography session at this Phoenix mountain, just send me an email!  If the Arizona landscapes aren’t really your thing, I know plenty of other great locations in the area that make for great family photos.  Contact me for availability and we can work together to come up with the perfect look for your next family portraits!  Emily@cozyclicks.com
