For this family photo session, the family wanted to combine Halloween fun in their family portraits and use the magic of costumes, accessories and the Wizard of Oz! Every family photo session is unique and even if it is not Halloween we can work together to create a creative session that is perfect for you family!

Location
While there aren’t any yellow brick roads nearby in Phoenix, there is a forest that looks like the one Dorothy ventured through with her pals in the Wizard of Oz. Tonto National Forest is a beautiful place for family photos– both themed ones and your classic shoot too! This location was Phon D Sutton in Tonto Forest. Photography is permitted here with no additional permits, however a parking fee is required.
Accessories
Accessories and details are a must for an Oz themed session- or any creative session! Simple details will really make your session something special. Here the pumpkins, ruby slippers, poppy flowers, toto and the basket, wand and many more details really tied things together making the perfect creative photo shoot!
